Welcome to Garden End Farm,

We’re a third generation family run dairy farm.

You will find us nestled between the tiny cathedral city of Wells and the charming village of cheddar. Our campsite sits amongst our apple and plum trees.

We love meeting new guests and welcoming back familiar faces.

The campsite has hedges covering three of the four sides making it safe for children. You can relax on the campsite and even have a barbecue whilst taking in the views of the local church and stunning Mendips.

What People Say

Lovely quiet site close to Wells, with a warm welcome from the owners. Good facilities and a decent shower, with an option to have breakfast cooked for you too as they also do B & B. We'll be back if we're in the area again!

A very warm welcome. Quiet site which is easily accessible but slightly harder to get out. Facilities extremely clean and welcoming. Lack of hard standing was not an issue for out motor home (7.5 m long) and hook up etc worked well. Sheila was extremely helpful and even came out to wave us goodbye on our next leg of the cycle ride. It was the best stay we had on our entire route!

We were concerned about lack of formal hardstanding, but Sheila reassured us that there were areas we could park and reach electrics when I booked. We were greeted with tea and biscuits on arrival, so helpful and friendly. Pub and Westby Nature Reserve are walking distance. Wells a short drive as is Wetmore with a mall of little shops, also home of Turnip prize. Wilkin's cider is worth a visit but didn't fancy taking motor home up single track road so had a lift up here and taxi back, an experience!
